International primary programme
A full-day programme taught in English with strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, sciences, STEM, digital skills, art, music and physical education.
Programme
A warm, ambitious and internationally oriented primary learning environment.
King’s Academy Varna builds an environment in which children develop solid academic foundations, confidence in English, practical STEM skills, creativity, kindness and independent thinking.
We offer an internationally oriented primary programme that combines serious academic preparation, English-language teaching, STEM, project-based learning and individual support. The programme is clear and accessible for both students and their parents.
The school is developing two educational pathways. The first is an international curriculum taught primarily in English, opening in September 2026. The second is a pathway aligned with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science, planned from the 2027/2028 school year, subject to the necessary licensing and approval.
Subjects, academic profiles and further study options will be finalised according to the registrations, approvals and examination rights obtained.
International primary school programme
A full-day programme taught in English with strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, sciences, STEM, digital skills, art, music and physical education.
We combine focused teaching with creativity, movement, hands-on activities, reading, discussion, play and outdoor learning.
English is the main language of instruction. Children receive structured support through clear routines, vocabulary work and speaking practice.
Bulgarian language and culture are part of the programme — keeping students connected to the local language, history and traditions.
Students observe, explore, ask questions and solve problems through science, technology and project-based learning.
Every child has an Individual Development Plan that tracks progress, language development and next steps.
Assessment and progress
Teachers observe students, review their classwork, listen to their participation in discussions and use age-appropriate activities to understand each child’s development.
Parents receive clear information about how their child is settling in, what they are learning, where they are progressing and where they may need additional support.
